DEFONEOS — UK Sovereign Defence AI Operating System

The UK currently lacks a sovereign, open-source defence AI operating system. All major defence AI platforms — Palantir ($308B, US-owned), Anduril ($14B, US-owned), and Helsing ($5B, EU-owned) — are foreign-controlled, closed-source, and subject to foreign jurisdiction (US CLOUD Act).
DEFONEOS solves this by integrating 12 validated open-source components (MIT/Apache 2.0 licensed) into a single sovereign OS with Ed25519 cryptographic audit, Byzantine Fault Tolerant governance, and UK sovereignty (CSOAI Ltd, Companies House 16939677). We are NOT building from scratch — we are assembling validated open-source components into a defence-ready platform, saving the MOD £4.8M in avoided development costs and 60 months of avoided development time.
